Residential Ramp Installation, Orrell

Our customer in Orrell contacted us because his wife, who uses an electric wheelchair, was unable to access their home independently. The front entrance had a raised step that made entry impossible without lifting or deploying a temporary ramp — a daily struggle the family were keen to resolve permanently.

We surveyed the property and specified the Enable Access Welcome Ramp System — a fully modular aluminium ramp with integrated handrails that can be configured to suit virtually any entrance. The system required no permanent structural alterations to the property and was designed to sit neatly against the existing brickwork.

The installation was completed in a single visit. The finished ramp gives the customer's wife full, independent access to the property in her electric wheelchair — no lifting, no temporary ramps, and no assistance required.
